Is this the greatest adventure journey in the history of mankind? No. But for three big-city nerds it may be the worst mistake of their lives. They will drive an Indian 150cc autorickshaw over 3000km from Nepal to the south of India in two full weeks. Without their laptops, wives or other essential life comforts.

Why? Consider and compare the following two reasons. One, they want to raise immense amounts of money for our charities. Two, they want to morph themselves from mere suburban desk-bound nerds into mighty "Nerds on Adventure".

In the months leading up to the great race known as the Rickshaw Run, these incompetent wanna-be adventurers will compile their mistakes, their poorly developed ideas, and their weakly defined schemes on how they want to raise money for charity, sponsorship from advertisers, and most notably
of all: survive and arrive 3000km across
the most majestic country on the planet: India.

Your chance of dying can be very high, some past teams have been seriously injured. These adventures are not a glorified holiday. They are an adventure and so by their very nature extremely risky. You really are on your own. If it all goes wrong, that's it, tough.
